This is one of Matsumoto Mingei Furniture's signature bureaus.
The meticulous craftsmanship throughout, including the decorative gourd-shaped panels on the mirror and drawers, creates a dignified and luxurious atmosphere.
It has been carefully used and is generally in good condition, but there is a scratch (see image 11) and discoloration on the top surface (see image 10).
