Upon research, there are similar items called Tsumori-zen that appear to be Wajima lacquerware.
It's not a noticeable scratch, but one tray has a vertical scuff mark when light is shone on it. Please see the last photo.
It appears to be from the manufacturing process, but there might be some gold paint adhered to the back.
