This is a special piece by Shinso Ichino, a Tamba chaire (tea caddy).
It is a slightly sloped chaire with a gentle shape yet possesses a dignified presence. Although slightly smaller in size compared to Ishida Tōshun's chaire, it surprisingly gives a stable impression.
A Sōkun Donsu (a type of silk brocade) shifuku (pouch) is included. Please refer to the photos for the condition of the gold leaf on the lid, which shows signs of use.
As this is an item that has aged, please understand that there may be some minor scuffs or small scratches.
