① Hakata Doll Takasago
This is an auspicious doll symbolizing marital harmony and longevity.
This elderly couple are legendary figures known for the Aioi no Matsu (Pine of Mutual Growth) and are called:
Male: Jo
Female: Uba
Features: Jo (male) holds a rake to gather good fortune and happiness.
Uba (female) holds a broom to sweep away misfortune and bad luck.
Their smiling figures side-by-side are said to symbolize marital harmony, family harmony, longevity, and happiness.
How about using them as an auspicious decoration for your home shrine or alcove?

② Hakata Doll [Yamagasa]
This is a Showa-era item with overall yellowing and dirt. Please check the images.
