Kaetsunō General Currency
This is a trial coin (shichuuka) that the Kaga domain attempted to produce for circulation only within its territory during the late Edo period (Bakumatsu).
The reverse side features illustrations of the Chinese zodiac (Uma = Horse) and plum blossoms, indicating the face value (700 mon).
