This is a trackball mouse.
I no longer need it because I switched to a keyboard with a built-in trackball.
This was my first time using an index-finger type, and I found that moving it with two fingers allowed for more precise control than with my thumb.
However, I couldn't get used to the trackball and have gone back to a regular mouse.
It has been used about 5 times.
