This hood is made of wetsuit material that suppresses hair from spreading underwater and prevents sunburn on the scalp in the summer. The ribbed texture on the outer surface gives it a knit-like, unisex design in appearance and feel. The ear area of the chin strap uses mesh material to avoid obstructing hearing. It is especially recommended for those who find standard hoods difficult to equalize pressure with or feel them constricting.
