Oshima Tsumugi
Among Tsumugi silk, Oshima Tsumugi is known as the Western Yokozuna in contrast to Yuki Tsumugi from the East. The pleasant rustling sound of the fabric and the graceful movement of the hem. It can be worn like a suit despite being a kimono, is resistant to rain, and does not wrinkle easily. This is Oshima Tsumugi, a comfortable and stylish kimono made with meticulous kasuri (patterned weaving) and weaving techniques.

Oshima Tsumugi is a pre-dyed woven fabric. Pre-dyed threads have impurities removed, making them denser and stronger. Furthermore, mud-dyed Oshima Tsumugi undergoes a dyeing process involving Sharinbai (a type of tree) and mud for up to 120 times, earning it the reputation of having the highest color fastness among plant-dyed fabrics.

[Condition]

Although the basting threads are not attached, it is a very beautiful, unused item.
A product quality certificate is included.
A haori himo (kimono jacket cord) is included.
The lining (dou-ura) is a dark brown cotton fabric.
The sleeve lining (hane-ura) is pure silk fabric.
