Born in Vienna during the era of Maria Theresa, petit point was a time of great craftsmanship. Among these, the traditional embroidery technique became increasingly refined, giving birth to petit point, a fine stitch embroidery. The stitches of petit point, which appear as a single dot to the naked eye, are actually made with two stitches. The higher the quality, the more stitches there are, reaching 900 to 3500 stitches per 2.5 cm square. Furthermore, a wide variety of colored threads are used in the embroidery, creating truly beautiful color harmonies. Since 1932, our workshop has been dedicated to the design and production of these works of art.
The beauty of Rococo - Petit point is a traditional craft that symbolizes the sophisticated city of Vienna.
